This is the calendar of the Spanish stock market in 2022: there will be three holidays

The working calendar of the Spanish stock market for 2022 is already known. It has been announced, as usual, by Bolsa y Mercados Españoles (BME), the company that operates the national equity, fixed income and derivatives markets. Next year will only have three festive days for investors, two less than in 2021.

The Spanish stock market will not be listed on Friday, April 15 (Good Friday), nor will it be listed on Easter Monday, April 18.

Then we will have to wait from the fourth month of next year until the last to have a day off in the national market again, since it will not open on Monday, December 26, due to the “delayed” Christmas holiday, which really will fall on Sunday.

In this way, the national markets will function normally on holidays such as Wednesday, October 12 (National Holiday), Tuesday, November 1 (All Saints’ Day) or Tuesday, December 6 (Constitution Day).

Likewise, unlike other years, in 2022 there will be no day in which the market is partially trading (that is, only half a session). Therefore, only the aforementioned five days will be “non-business days for the purposes of operation”, reports BME.
