This is the Spanish prefabricated houses of Joaquín Torres, the architect of the famous

The coronavirus pandemic has been a shock to the manufactured home sector. Thus, the architecture studio A-cero Tech, founded by the renowned architect Joaquín Torres -famous for his work on the luxury urbanization La Finca (Madrid)- and Rafael Llamazares, plans to increase its turnover to 15 million euros in 2021 and double it to 30 million in 2022.

The prefabricated houses of A-Cero Tech

“This positive growth of the A-Cero Tech business is due to the strong and pioneering position it has acquired in the industrialization sector of residential and non-residential constructions,” the studio explained to the Vozpópuli media. The truth is, A-cero already presented these designs for prefabricated homes in 2009 with its own construction system, A-cero Tech. In that year the first modular home was installed in Madrid and a decade later, the studio has built more than 150 homes, a hospital or a primary school.

In the A-cero Tech method, the study applies the same procedures of standardization, modularity, technology, quality control, and times that are applied to many other fields of human activity, the most obvious example being automobile production, with already over a hundred years of chain production approaches.

This workshop production allows shorter construction times and more specialized labor. In addition, there is a strict control of the design phases. And another important advantage is respect for the environment. By minimizing on-site work, the environment is respected, less waste is generated and inconvenience is minimized.

The prefabricated houses of Isla Canela

One of the latest developments from this architecture studio are the six luxury modular homes that it built last fall in Isla Canela, Huelva, for Pryconsa. Baptized as Las Marismas, most of the construction of the buildings in this promotion was produced in the factory and only took three days to install.

These houses have private plots of 500 m2 and have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet, and a large living room with integrated kitchen with direct access to the terrace and garden. They went on the market from 345,000 euros.
