The vaccination campaign advances. To travel outside of Spain, in most cases, it will be necessary to be immunized, the clubs are negotiating with the Government the possibility of holding parties in which only vaccinated people enter, some companies require this procedure to hire new staff. Vaccines are already, and will continue to be for many months, the order of the day. But how to prove that the full pattern has been obtained?

Spain began on June 7 to issue and recognize the digital COVID Certificate of the European Union. Advance, in this way, to the date that the block had established, July 1. It is a totally free document that facilitates the movement of people between Member States.

What is the COVID Certificate?

It is a document that guarantees the protection of the person’s health. It is valid throughout the European Union and, although it is received in Spanish in this country, it can be requested in the language of any Member State of the bloc. The COVID Certificate allows three aspects to be accredited:

– That the person has been vaccinated against COVID-19.

– That the person has undergone a test whose result has been negative.

– That the person has recovered from COVID-19.

How to request the COVID Certificate?

Anyone can apply for the COVID Certificate or Passport through the different channels granted by each autonomous community. However, the simplest process is to go directly to the Ministry of Health.

To do this, it will be necessary to go to the electronic headquarters of this body with a Cl@ve certificate or with the Social Security digital certificate. Once inside, the page will ask you to select which certificate you want to get. In this case, you will have to request the vaccination certificate, although you can also obtain the negative test or the recovery certificate.

After requesting it, the only thing left to do is wait for the Ministry of Health to send the vaccination certificate by email. The user will only have to download it and save it to teach it when necessary.
