Upload images from external server

Hello!

I recently made a transfer to , but I had problems due to the number of inodes. I haven’t pointed the domain yet to solve this problem.
To divide the number of inodes that I had in my hosting, I decided to make a subdomain pointing to another hosting (also within ), where I have put my historical images from 2016 to 2019, which in total will be about 250 thousand inodes.

I have managed to do a replace in the database to display the images from the new server, but I have problems because they are not displayed correctly. Mainly there are two incidents that I can not solve:

1. The main image does not load because the replace was done wrong, but I can’t find where to modify this data.

For example, if my main image is:

https://imagenes.grupopiramide.com.mx/2016/11/carlos-joaquin-press-conference-with-governors-5.jpg

the replace did the following for me:

https://imagenes.grupopiramide.com.mx/2016/11/carlos-joaquin-press-conference-with-governors-5.jpg

2. The images of the text (which are not the featured image) load me but they do not do so with the image appropriate to the size, so it is loading the 300px thumbnail when the 700px thumbnail is loaded on the production page.

I leave two examples of how the web looks:

In production:
In the temporary URL:

I have explained the whole case to ask for your help on how to solve this in the best way.

My query would be the following:

1. I found that there are plugins to make all images load externally, like a CDN, but I don’t care about this, I just want the historical images to load from the other server. I would like to keep from 2020 onwards on the new server. Is there a plugin that allows me to do this or would it be more advisable to use an external service?

2. I would like your opinion on the solution I have tried in this case. If there’s anything simpler you can think of about it, I’m all eyes, hehe.

Thank you very much!
