Delivery time is Dija’s hallmark but a sign that not everything is done as quickly as can be promised.

In this case, for large purchases, the one that every house is forced to make at least once a month, say part with the guarantee of express delivery. In 10 minutes, according to its own website, it is true that it is actually a little longer, although not excessively. For this reason, the one with which they promised to deliver the order to the door in 600 seconds or gave away three months of free shipping.

But leaving aside the promises that are difficult to keep, this new concept of “ghost supermarkets” has managed to reduce delivery times compared to other supermarkets or companies. In addition, its strategy is based on reducing costs, while increasing efficiency and, with it, consumer satisfaction.

All thanks to the idea already implemented several years ago in the United States or the United Kingdom where a normal supermarket is installed, with its aisles, but which can only be accessed by the company’s own workers to take the products desired by the customer and give them to the dealer in question. The customer, for his part, waits at home without the need for more effort than accepting the shipment in the application and opening the door once the delivery man arrives.

But entering fully into what Dija offers, this startup has achieved an application that is easy to use where, once the desired location has been selected, the client has all kinds of categories at their service. From the classic ‘fruit and vegetables’, ‘meat’, ‘charcuterie’ or ‘bakery’ to thematic collections devised by the group (‘work from home’, ’emergencies’ or ‘gluten-free’) or Dija’s recipes, where you can see a recipe for a dish with the possibility of buying all the ingredients involved in the process.

Also noteworthy is the possibility of buying technological equipment, something rarer to see in traditional supermarkets. This is the case of Xiaomi headphones, keyboards and mice for computers or USB cables and portable chargers.

For its part, the prices that are reflected are a little higher than those of traditional supermarkets, but they are compensated by this speed in the distribution. This has been reflected by some of the first users to use the application, although by way of help Dija has a discount of 10 euros on the first order by entering the code ‘HOLADIJA’. In turn, it also gives away 5 euros in certain products for the purchase of 10 euros in them.
