You can finally leave WhatsApp groups without anyone knowing

WhatsApp would be working on a function, for the moment they are only going to extend it in beta version, which will allow you to leave the groups in a silent way, where only the group administrator will be notified of it.

The WhatsApp messaging app is used daily by millions of users for both personal and work use. The company offers many functions on its platform, but as usual there are some that have details that users would like to change, such as the notification when someone leaves a WhatsApp group.

For this reason, and as reported by , the developers of this app are working on a function that will allow you to leave a group without getting a notification. Because let’s be honest, when you go out the back door it is much easier and more comfortable if you don’t have to explain yourself, the same happens if you stop following someone on Twitter, nobody wants that notification to appear.

Although it is not available at the moment, it has already been possible to verify how it will work. As always, you have to go to the group you want to leave and press Leave group. But unlike what we have now, a notification that said user has left the group will not appear in the group, but only the administrator will skip this notice.

The reason why WhatsApp has decided to keep the alert for the administrator is because in many cases the person who created the group has an organizer element and the company has believed it is important that this person is aware of all the changes that occur in the group.

This feature is great for when you’ve been placed in a group that you don’t want to be in, but you also don’t want everyone to see that you’ve left the group. WhatsApp wants to promote the use of groups even more, we can see it with the incorporation of functions such as Communities, which bring together several groups with something in common or with the rumor that they are going to increase the number of people that can be in the same cluster.
