A/B Testing Course #10. Good practices – .com

We have reached the tenth and final lesson of the a/b testing course in which we will see some practical advice and good practices that can help us achieve the success of our A/B tests.

The fundamentals of the testing strategy is knowing how to choose which are the most profitable tests based on the opportunities for improvement that we discover on our sites. For this we must emphasize planning and prioritization.

It also requires a lot of attention to be realistic in our ambitions and to use a lot of common sense. If we do not have the necessary traffic, it will be impossible to do a test in a reasonable time. Let us begin!

Surely watching the video you have come up with a couple of interesting ideas for your websites. Well, don’t hesitate any longer: take a tour of analytics to see the traffic and average conversion, make an estimate of terms and samples in the calculators and if everything adds up, go ahead with it.

Nor is it recommended to carry out multivariate tests with many variations because the times and traffic necessary to validate them are multiplied. Let’s remember the first lesson and the examples we gave on this topic. In this lesson we have also seen some examples of what we can test and what aspects we can base ourselves on to do so.

As we said at the beginning of the video, you have to test to get the necessary practice and get to know your audience well. Take a good look at the segmentations, types of users, types of traffic sources and even the countries of the test participants, because all this information will help us create new optimization ideas.
