LightInTheBox app: a huge catalog for a somewhat limited app

The feeling after using the Light In The Box mobile app is that its huge catalog it would deserve another type of app or, at least, an app more adapted to their special conditions. And it is that, beyond the basic categories into which LightInTheBox divides its products (dresses, jewelry, cosmetics…) and the other outstanding sections (top sales, offers of the week, news), the user has no way to differentiate between product subcategories.

It doesn’t matter if you try to locate a sweater or a skirt, men’s or children’s clothing, all the fashion items appear in a very extensive list, which hardly has the possibility of being sifted based on its prices and novelty. only the general search engine can help the client to perform a more precise search.

a correct design

The design of LightInTheBox, in our opinion, is discreet, correct, without anything that particularly attracts attention or clashes with the general result. The same could be said of the product sheets, which have the fair information so that the customer can clearly know what he is buying, incorporating details such as whether or not shipping costs are free, essential in the case of an mCommerce like this that sends its products from China. To reinforce the feeling of trust, the application includes the ratings from former customers about each item.

The LightInTheBox app is free, and is available for . Have you downloaded it? What is your opinion of Light in the box?
