you know perfectly Iberia. Despite its merger with British Airways and its image changes, the red and yellow colors of this airline company have been flying the Spanish skies for decades, transporting millions of travelers to hundreds of destinations around the world. Now, to try to get closer to its customers and be able to serve them (and sell them their flights) more quickly, it has a precious mobile application.

Of course, the design of the Iberia application will be considered more or less precious, or more or less pleasing to the eye depending on the predisposition of your customers to find themselves immersed in a red tide of buttons, links and tabs. Because this app is red without palliatives. But attractive at the same time. And with a curious way of structuring your initial menu in the form of mosaic which makes the result even more spectacular.

Among this mosaic, Iberia hides all the necessary options so that your clients can organize their trip from start to finish, including online check-in, or management of the boarding pass. In addition, this screen has direct access to the web version of the application, as well as to the other apps with which the company has in its Iberia Store (“flights”, “parking” and the very interesting “on board”)

Of course the central part of the app stays for the section dedicated to ticket reservation which, despite working well in general terms, shows some shortcomings, such as the not have a calendar that facilitates the choice of round trip dates, or failures in its operation, such as the one that occurs when the traveler wants go back in the booking process, and you lose all the data you had entered up to that point. On the other hand, when a user searches tickets for more than one personand enter this data from the beginning, you will find individual prices, which can lead you to deception (and the generation of false expectations), and which will only be revealed when paying.
