The YouTube event: Game On, It comes at a delicate time for the quintessential gaming platform, which many creators have threatened to leave completely and go with the competition. These threats are motivated by fan toxicity in comments and broadcasts that creators experience, such as the case of Jaryd “summit1g” Lazar.

For his part, the Spanish gamer, has threatened to leave Twitch due to the changes that the streaming platform has undergone, which has cut payments to creators in half to keep half of the money. In addition to this, the Spaniard has complained that the platform does not respect and give the same importance to Spanish-speaking creators that it gives to Anglo-Saxons.

As if that were not enough, many users have complained about the great number of ads that Twitch has inserted into streams, making the gaming experience choppy and tedious.
