In the eighth class of the Blender course we are going to learn how to use the addons and complements to increase the capabilities of this suite of tools.
Blender is an open and free application, and we have a multitude of add-ons available that we can purchase to have more tools and resources at our disposal when working with our projects.
We are going to learn how to install and activate some of these addons, and where to get some that can be very useful on the Internet. Let’s start!
Isn’t it interesting how we can extend the features of Blender? We have learned about Blender plugins. Basically, this application offers us dozens of tools that allow us to have more tools and resources.
Some of these addons allow us to create things at the click of a button that we would otherwise have to design from scratch ourselves. Therefore, they are a great ally both for those who already use this application professionally, and for those who are just starting out.
We have a multitude of tools that we can get on the internet. Blender has a huge community around the world, which not only interacts with each other in the search for sharing and acquiring knowledge, but there are also many add-ons created and from which we have free access to them, at no cost. But we also have some paid ones, which offer us some of the most advanced features that we can find in the creation of 3D environments.
As homework, we are going to identify some of the addons that we have known and that would be very useful to us. You have a list of the websites and addons that we have seen in this class in the link below the video.
Also, let’s practice with the theme customization options, to configure the Blender user interface to our liking.
