Coda Course #2. Create tables and formats – .com

In the second class of the Coda.io course we are going to start working on the application, creating the first tables and seeing the formats to apply.

At Coda.io we are going to base all the potential work we can do on the creation of the first tables as databases. We will be able to view these tables from different designs, but it is key that these tables are well built.

In this class we are going to create our first tables, see their composition and how we can add new fields and format them. Fundamental the formats to be able to adapt them to our needs and that our tables are more professional. Go for it!

As you can see, creating tables in Coda.io is not at all complex, but we do have to pay attention and dedicate time to the formats of each column, so that they adjust to the needs of the data that we are going to enter.

Within the formats, as you can see, we are not only going to be able to adapt different types of formats, but each one of them has its settings, so in these first steps it is essential to work on them in detail.

As a homework proposal, we are going to build a CRM in parallel, so create a table in a new document, and add the main fields that you consider are necessary and format them according to their typology.

Any questions you can share with me through the intranet support form, I’ll wait for you in the next class.
