Don’t know how to see your PC screen on your TV? Don’t worry, can help you out! Or two. Or three. Whatever it takes so you can watch all your favorite series and movies on the big screen of your humble abode.
We start with the best known:
HDMI cable
Connecting this famous cable is probably the easiest thing you have ever done. Connect it to the computer output and the TV input and, from the TV remote, press AV to select the HDMI input. You will automatically see the same thing on your TV as on your laptop.
Be careful, don’t leave Tinder or WhatsApp open, it will soon be visible to everyone! 😉
VGA cable
If for whatever reason you do not have an HDMI input on your computer, you can use this second option. Connect it to both devices but keep in mind that when using VGA you will need a extra analog audio cablewhich will also be connected to the two inputs.
As you can see, in this case the audio is a bit capricious and on its own. What are you going to do!
DVI Cable
Another alternative to HDMI is the DVI cable, which works the same as the previous one but without extra cables. Connect it to both devices and, from the TV remote, press the AV button and select the DVI input. Directly, you will see the contents on your TV. To enjoy!
And now… Look mom, without cables.
Wifi
If you have one smart tv, Do not think about it. Be smarter than her and connect it to your computer without even leaving the couch, directly through your Wi-Fi.
Activate it and connect to the same network to which the computer is connected. From the latter go to Settings > System > Display > Multiple displays > Detect and select the option for your Smart TV with Wifi. Then, double click to start viewing your content.

ScreenShare
ScreenShare, Screen Mirroring, Display Mirroring, Miracast or Allshare Cast. You can find it with all these nomenclatures but they are all the same: a technology that duplicate the screen of your device. That is, another alternative to connect your PC with your TV if you have a Smart TV.
This technology takes advantage of your television’s Wi-Fi to transmit content from one device to another. Turn both on and turn ScreenShare on on your TV. Next, go to Settings > Devices > Connected devices > Add a device. The one you are looking for will automatically appear in the list displayed. Double click on it, and that’s it!
And now, an option halfway between wired and non-wired:
Chromecast
If you still want more options, we bring you the mixed alternative: in this it will be your television that connects, on the one hand, to your computer via HDMI cable, and on the other, to your Chromecast via Wifi.
Click on the Chromecast icon on your computer in compatible services such as YouTube. When you click on it you will see a Chromecast device list compatible. Select your television and in a matter of seconds you will have the content you want to project on it.
Of course: you will only be able to see the applications compatible with your Chromecast on your TV.
