In the IG:dm interface you can find on the left side all the conversations you have had, including personal or group chats. By selecting any of these conversations you will be able to access the history of your conversations on the right side of the screenso you won’t lose any of the conversations from where you left off on the mobile version of Instagram.
To start a new private chat with an Instagram user, just search for their user ID by typing @ and the username. Once you have located it, you must click on its name and a new chat will open.
