In the seventh class of the iCloud for business course we will see how to use Pages in iCloud, and how to use it for our company and teamwork.
7.1 – Pages in iCloud
Now that we are clear about all the settings and intricacies of iCloud, and that we have seen the most basic tools, we are going to enter the “First Division” in terms of tools from Apple’s office suite: Pages, Numbers and Keynote.
In this class we are going to see the Pages word processor. But don’t worry, we are not going to explain how to use a word processor, but we are going to focus on seeing how we can use it for our business.
So let’s see the versions of iCloud and Mac, and what options and features can serve us more than others. Let us begin!
As you have seen, the collaboration system is very similar to the one we saw in Notes and Reminders. The real-time collaboration system is extraordinarily good for everyone to work with the same version of the document No version issues. We can even see how the document is modified instantly.
On the other hand, with the change control option on Mac, they will allow us to see at all times what modifications have been made at any given time thanks to the color code, and thus accept or reject each one of them.
7.2 – Charts in Pages
And now that we have already seen the most important aspects of Pages for business, we are going to dedicate an extra video to see an additional functionality that, although it is true that not all of you will use it, in some cases they will be very helpful: The graphics.
We are going to see a brushstroke of everything that pages allow in terms of showing these colorful elements, with which at one time or another we will have to work.
As you can see, these elements are not only very useful for preparing corporate reports, but also add a touch of professionalism in the event that we have to deliver them to clients, suppliers or partners.
7.3 – Figures in Pages
