Innato, the first nudist restaurant in Spain (with a happy ending)

Tenerife has been the place chosen to enjoy Innato, the first nudist restaurant in Spain that has opened its doors this January. Tony de Leonardis, its creator, has given an interview to Evasion where he explains both the naturist nature of his establishment and its more erotic side.

The experience of eating naked in a public place is becoming fashionable. The City of London was one of the pioneers in opening a nudist restaurant, wishing to eat as God brought them into the world. In the case of Innato, its website has been down for hours due to the large amount of traffic it is receiving.

Tony de Leonardis, a hotelier of Italian origin, tells this medium that he arrived in the Canary Islands in September of last year with the conviction of opening the first naturist restaurant in Spain. And he did so. In little more than four months, Innato has started to walk and Tony, a lover of the islands that he describes as “a paradise”, is already clear that he would love to retire on them and with his restaurant.

The founder of Innato makes it clear that his restaurant is not only a place where you can eat naked -in fact, you can do it in a bathrobe-. It is a project that seeks “a return to the origins of the human being”. Thus, Tony’s diners will enjoy an evening without stress, without electric light and without anything reminiscent of today’s hectic times. In Innato “there are none of the comforts of the modern age”, Leonardis sentences Evasion, and for this reason all the crockery is made of clay, the furniture is made with natural elements and the waiters work in Roman uniforms. Also, cell phones are not allowed.

150 euros per couple and with a happy ending

This clear commitment to naturism does not escape the recipe book of this new establishment. Leonardis emphasizes that all the food at Innato is made with “biological Tenerife products and is prepared over low heat in a wood-fired cooker.” Clients of this restaurant can choose between three “haute cuisine” menus: one with seafood and fish, another with meat and a final vegetarian one. Tony also explains that he hopes to introduce a vegan menu soon. Prices range from 150 euros per couple to 75 per person. It is all-inclusive and the reserved table can be enjoyed throughout the night.

The most erotic side of this evening occurs at the time of dessert. The so-called happy ending dessert (from the English dessert with a happy ending) is an assortment of aphrodisiac sweets served next to the naked bodies of a man and a woman. Tony de Leonardis encourages people to participate in the evenings at his Innato and ensures that they are perfect “for any type of person who likes naturism and a relaxed atmosphere”.
