The material author of the hit-and-run on La Rambla in Barcelona, ​​Younes Abouyaaqoub, tried to steal a woman’s car in Olèrdola (Barcelona) to flee, according to the owner of the vehicle, who reported the events to the Mossos d’Esquadra on Monday, the same day that the terrorist was killed in Subirats (Barcelona), police sources have indicated to Europa Press.

In an interview in ‘La Vanguardia’ collected by Europa Press, the woman explains that she was in her car in Sant Pere Molanta, a town in the municipality of Olèrdola, when Abouyaaqoub entered from the passenger side and attacked her, hitting her on the chest “with something that was like a long gray stone”.

“I thought I was going to die,” says the woman, who managed to run away and scream for help while Abouyaaqoub tried to start the vehicle, but could not because the keys were in her bag, she detailed, and then escaped.
