Madrid Retail Congress 2018 will analyze the future of commerce on November 27 and 28 in Madrid – Marketing 4 Ecommerce – Your online marketing magazine for e-commerce

The evolution that retail is experiencing is unstoppable, especially in terms of digitization and use of new tools. The need for business to adapt -whatever its size-, to maintain its competitiveness in the face of the new expectations of the digital consumer, and this evolution must cover all aspects of the company and must involve all its members.

The fourth edition of which will be held the next November 27 and 28 in Madrid With the motto “Time for the New Retail”, it will review the trends in the sector and will be the perfect space for debate where the future of retail will be outlined.

In the extensive program of the two days of the congress, the following stand out: conferences and debates dedicated to omnichannel, new business models, coexistence of commerce SMEs with online giants, and much more. Directors of companies such as El corte Inglés, Kantar TNS, Nielsen, Tendam Retail, Conforama, Sánchez Romero, Multiópticas, Springfield, Covirán, Capkelenn, Lukapp or Somoscompraamong others, will share experiences and concerns with the attendees regarding the new era for commerce.

As the main novelty this year, the Madrid Retail Tech parallel program will bring together experts in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, eCuponing, Loyalty and Visual Merchandising. In addition, the Madrid Chamber of Commerce will once again hold the Visual Toura tour of the main shops in Madrid, in which experts in window dressing will reveal the main keys to success in this important aspect of establishments.

The organization expects to exceed last year’s attendance, when more than 900 attendees and almost 70 speakers offered the keys to the business model of the future for two days.

In just three editions, Madrid Retail Congress has established itself as the largest event for the retail sector in Spain: companies of any format and sector, equipment and technology or services for retail, trade associations, universities and training schools or institutions.

The congress is organized by the Spanish Confederation of Commerce (CEC), the Confederation of Commerce of Madrid COCEM and the publishing group D/A Retail. It has the support of, among others, Banco Santander de España, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, the Community of Madrid, the Madrid City Council and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce.
