Storefront Course #1: Installation and child theme – .com

We start the Storefront course with the most basics. Install it and create a child theme, something essential so as not to lose the modifications when updating.

1 – Installation and child theme

To use Storefront, the first thing we must do is install it. But beware, we will not activate it. First of all, let’s create a child theme, and then we’ll see how it looks 🙂

You have already seen it. We have created a child theme, which will be the one we will work with from now on. In this way, when updating the parent theme (Storefront), all the modifications that we will make throughout the course will be maintained. And all without any code 😀

So, today the homework consists of doing the same as in the video. By the way, don’t forget to deactivate and delete the plugin after using it. Indeed, it is a throwaway plugin 😉

For any questions, here I am. See you in the next flash class of this Storefront flash course. Until then!!

Remember that if you will have access to everybody the courses and you can also enjoy everything from .
