Synchronize WordPress with Twitter and Facebook – .com

One of the simplest ways to take advantage of , is to sync your blog with Twitter and Facebook. In this way, when a new post is published, your status is also updated on each of the social platforms, thus multiplying the diffuser effect.

There are many that make this task easier for you, the one I use is Status Updater (it doesn’t exist anymore, I currently use ) that updates the status of , and of and MySpace (which I don’t use). We can configure it as follows:

  • Facebook:
    • Update profile with post title and link
    • Update profile with the title of the post, the link in an image, and an excerpt.
    • Update a page with the title of the post, and the URL
    • Update a page with the post title, an excerpt, and the link in an image
  • Twitter:
    • Post title and link
    • Allows you to shorten URLs optionally
  • MySpace:
    • Title of the post and link, plus the “mood” that you incorporate at the time of writing the post

The plugin also works for scheduled postsallows you to update your status with custom text for each platformNo update status for a specific post (or do it again)or update only on some networks specific, or choose an image specific to the status update.

Thus, by the time I publish this post, my Twitter and Facebook will also be updated. Here we have the screenshot of the status update of this same post, which I have obviously captured after to publish it:
