Come home for Christmas, what would the famous advertisement say. This is how the product that has gained the most popularity in Lidl establishments in Spain returns, to the point of putting a . Monsieur Cuisine is once again available on the shelves of the German chain, with an expected sales record taking into account its low price and its appeal as one of the quintessential Christmas gifts.
It was at the beginning of 2021 when Justice in its war against Lidl and the kitchen robot that was stealing market share from them, when this machine had to withdraw from sales for an indefinite time. Monsieur Cuisine thus hid in the shadows of thousands of kitchens, with an expected return that would restore his fame to the most cooks.
And it is that in its day this product caused such a sensation in Lidl that it caused long queues in its premises, as well as constant calls in order to know when it would be available. A moment that has already arrived, since the German chain par excellence has announced that it is available again, although in an improved version.
This is the Monsieur Cuisine Plus
The Monsieur Cuisine Plus robot with which Silvercrest wants to be the protagonist of those cooked for these holidays thanks to its complete characteristics, at the level of its archenemy Thermomix. With multifunction automatic programs (cook, fry, knead, beat, mix, chop, grind…) it has up to ten speeds as well as an extra turbo button to beat with the pulse function.
It also has a 2.2 liter stainless steel mixing container, a scale with a tare function to measure up to 5 kilograms and cooking accessories, mixers, a flat steamer with a lid, knives and spatulas. All integrated in a state-of-the-art robot so it has a temperature of between 37 and 130 degrees, a timer of up to an hour and a half and an LCD screen to set time, speed and temperature.
Finally, it has a cookbook with up to 200 recipes and an application to save them and have them accessible on the device itself. To do this, Lidl has already prepared the way for this return and urged its customers to, by which since the end of November the company Lidl Stiftung will manage everything related to the Monsieur Cuisine brand.
When does Monsieur Cuisine Plus go on sale and price
Once the return has been announced and with the anticipation of sweeping through Christmas, the Monsieur Cuisine Plus kitchen robot will begin to be available from Saturday, December 18. For now only in Lidl stores, so it cannot be purchased on the chain’s website, its price will be 199.99 euros.
