The Valencian Streamloots has received its own surprise chest: has closed its first major (Series A) for 4.73 million euros, which has had the American risk capital Bessemer Venture Partners and business angels including Tobi Lutke, CEO of , Jeremy Stoppelman, CEO of Yelp and Eric Baker, CEO of Viagogo, among others.

With this injection of capital, Streamloots will seek to hire key talent to expand each department of the company. The idea is to help each digital content creator to become their own company and reach their audience directly by managing to monetize their content through the tools that the platform offers them.

This is how Streamloots works: cards in surprise chests to interact with viewers

The gaming market and it is becoming more important every day. However, despite the fact that these influencers manage to capture the attention of large audiences that grow exponentially, many times they are not able to monetize the content they share. So Streamloots was born in January 2018.

The operation of Streamloots is simple: through its platform streamers can sell interactions with their fans through surprise chests. These chests offer different types of digital cards that fans can exchange for cards during the stream, and these will appear on the streamer’s screen as a prompt of what to do.

Each streamer can customize the cards to offer its fans: since they sing, play a game with the user, dye their hair, dress up or choose the character they play with. Each chest contains 3 random cards that can be common, rare, epic or legendary.

Now, the platform ensures that its streamers are able to quintup their income by adding Streamloots to their broadcasts, while at the moment over 40,000 content creators have joined and they manage to better connect with their audience through interaction with letters, and of course, monetize their content in a fun way.
