In order to find out in detail the usage habits of apps in Spain, Hootsuite shares its study of We Are Social in collaboration with Hootsuite, which includes specific data on the Spanish market and the most downloaded apps in Spain.
The study reveals that Between January and December 2021, a total of 1,370 million applications were downloaded in Spain, which implies a decrease of 6% year-on-year compared to the previous year. Nevertheless, the annual expense in mobile and transactional apps per consumer was 784 million dollars (just over 686 million euros), namely, an increase of 12% year-on-year.
