In the fourth class of the Twitch Course we are going to move to the other side of the curtain. To do this, we are going to take the first steps that will lead us to being a streamer.
We already have our account, and we have been exploring the operation of the platform, integrating ourselves into its community. We already saw in the second class that there is no differentiation between user and creator account. They are exactly the same, anyone with a free Twitch account can stream whenever they want.
But it is important to consider some configuration parameters before starting our adventure. Let’s see it step by step!
Interesting control panel, right? Thanks to it we will be able to control all aspects of our channel. We have seen each of the options, and we have begun to configure everything to prepare our account before our first live.
As you can see, all the tools that Twitch offers us as creators are fully configurable. In this class we will see how to configure, from the quality of our direct, to the currency of the channel, through which our audience will be able to exchange animations, gifts or actions on our part rewarding their loyalty.
We have also learned about the huge number of options and configuration parameters to customize our channel. As we have seen, we can control all aspects of it. From moderation parameters, to the design of our profile and cover (which we will go into more in the next class).
As homework I encourage you to configure your Twitch account with what we have learned in this class. Let’s leave everything ready to venture into Live Streaming in the next lessons that come ahead.
