Twitch Course #9. Extensions – .com

In the ninth class of the Twitch course we are going to learn about some of the most interesting tools that Twitch offers us: extensions.

They are small applications that we can integrate into our channel that allow us to have more forms of interaction and information for our channel.

We will be able to show real-time information on the status of our character in the game during our live streams (if we stream video games). Or show the songs that we are listening to at that moment. As well as adding interactive panels that will show very diverse information. Go for it!

Do you realize the possibilities that are opened with the extensions? We can include things as varied as our Twitter updates, latest followers, and even gamification apps that will help us encourage audiences to send us bits or subscribe.

Extensions can even be used to integrate external interaction applications that can add certain gamification features to our broadcasts. We already know the great importance of interaction for the success of a channel.

These additions can make a difference. We will be surprised how we can integrate very useful external applications in our channel. In addition, there are thousands of them, and we have only explored a few.

As homework, I encourage you to explore the extensive directory of extensions that we have. Install some and test them live. We may find some small treasure that can help us a lot with our type of content.

In the process we will discover many new tools that we did not know about. Let’s not be afraid to experiment, everything we do is reversible (we won’t break it). So… Let’s experiment!
