Before we start designing the pages of our website like crazy, we have to sit down for a moment to create the functional scheme of a website, or we will have long-term problems.
3 – Functional scheme of a website
So we are going to create a functional for the web in question, and we will see what common denominators we have in these cases, and what peculiarities we find.
As you will see, it not only informs us of the “views” that we must create, but also of their flow. We can create it with any software, from a Google presentation to Illustrator, a Keynote or PowerPoint. Let’s get started!
Do you realize how these schemes help us extraordinarily? You have already seen how reviewing the functional we have seen how certain elements were missing that we have been incorporating or modifying. This is essential to understand the scope of the project that we are developing.
And most importantly: Situate everyone: us, the client, the programmer, the designer, and all those who have to make decisions on the final result. Without this, we would end up crazy! Even as clients, we may be interested in presenting a functional, to make clear what we want and what we don’t.
Obviously, you don’t have to create them from scratch every time, surely on many occasions you will be able to take advantage of schemes from other websites that you have already made, and you will only have to modify what is necessary.
