BitBase wins the Aena concession to install the first cryptocurrency ATMs in Spanish airports – Marketing 4 Ecommerce – Your online marketing magazine for e-commerce

Aena just granted a license to BitBase through which it can be installed by the first cryptocurrency ATMs located in Spanish airports. Total, there will be four spaces that will be leased to BitBase to host these ATMs. One at the Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández airport, another at Ibiza and two at Palma de Mallorca.

Although a specific date has not yet been set, it has been announced that these digital currency dispensers will start operating soon.

BitBase is the company that manages the most cryptocurrency ATMs in Spain and the third in Europe

Thanks to the closing of this operation, BitBase continues to consolidate itself as the company with the largest number of cryptocurrency ATMs in our country. According to the website, there are currently 38,901 cryptocurrency ATMs installed worldwide. The vast majority of these are in USA (34,210) and in Canada (2,448). The majority of Spaniards claim to know cryptocurrencies although their use is still infrequent

The latest report prepared by the analyzes how we Spaniards consume cryptocurrencies and sheds light on the current situation of this type of digital asset. This reflects that 75% of Spaniards have heard or know to some degree what a cryptocurrency is.
