“It is not the first one we received and we hope it precedes the others. But this is particularly important for CornerJob because it looks much more pragmatic than a board. Winning the DT50 means, in fact, win a series of mentoring and coaching sessions, as well as seminars and events promoted by the three promoters of the award: Google, Mc Kinsey and Rocket Internet. For CornerJob, which in less than three years of life has already achieved leadership positions in the mobile recruitment sector in Italy, Spain, and Mexico, it means receiving a new launch pad for even more ambitious goals and further horizons”. Rodriguez assured.

Exclusively for Marketing4eCommerce, David Rodríguez told us a little about his recognition at the Digital Top 50 Awards and what it means for CornerJob.

– What motivated you to present yourselves?

We have been born as an international company from day one with co-founders of 3 nationalities, and this award is intended to reward innovative European companies. We fit perfectly.

– Why that section and not another?

The organizers were the one who decided the category where we competed. They explained to us that after 18 months of existence, a startup will become a scaleup for them. They put us in the B2B category because our economic model is based on the company part. We do not bill candidates for anything.

– How does it feel to be the only Spanish startup among finalists and winners?

We are very grateful, and the whole team feels it as a reward for the work produced these 2 and a half years. Also, comes a year after the Tech5 award from The Next Web conference where we were also the only Spanish company to be a finalist in Amsterdam with other European companies.
