PRETTY THING: In December 2012, I started looking for options to implement an online store on our Facebook page, after a long search I found Tiendanube. Before implementing it I asked a few questions and was delighted with the super friendly and personalized customer service. That’s when I definitely decided to use the app. And I was not wrong! Previously we sold offline and online, I can assure you that sales have increased 100% since then. And it helped me position myself in search engines.

PRETTY THING: As soon as I had contact with people who advised me from the same store, I lost my fears and I launched myself! Just like that.

Do you remember your first sale? How was the transaction?

PRETTY THING: Immediately sales were generated from the store and I replaced my old website with the new shopping cart website, wonderful! To promote the new store, I posted the link on my facebook page and visits to the store increased rapidly.

CLOUD STORE: What are you doing to promote your products on the internet? What is the strategy that works best for you?

PRETTY THING: To promote I advertise from Facebook. A year ago there were 10,000 followers, today there are more than 120,000, everything fed back; that is, Facebook increases my visits to the store, and the store on Facebook. This is my strategy, link facebook on the page, and on facebook the store.

CLOUD STORE: What payment gateway do you use and why? do you recommend it?

CLOUD STORE: How has your store grown recently?

PRETTY THING: As soon as I implemented it I will have had 20 sales, my main sales channel was still the well-known site for buying and selling (Mercado Libre), but over the months it increased exponentially and today the store represents 90% of the transactions I get.

CLOUD STORE: Now that you have some experience in electronic commerce; What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of creating an online store and starting from scratch?

PRETTY THING: My advice is to be clear about what you want to sell, the conditions of sale, what delivery method you are going to use, times and above all the aesthetics of the site, the photographs you use must be professional. And then trust that everything goes well…
