Google Tag Manager Course – .com

Google Tag Manager course in which we will review the basic concepts of this tool to learn how to tag our website correctly.

Tag Manager is the solution that Google proposes for the implementation of dynamic tagging of websites or apps. It is a step forward to easily and quickly implement data collection solutions that we will then send to our measurement tools, and more things that we will see throughout this and the following courses.

We’ll start, first things first, by defining what labeling is and why it’s important, to jump right into today’s most current, ecosystem-oriented dynamic labeling solutions.

After this, we will focus on Google Tag Manager, looking at its hierarchy and, as we did in the advanced course on Google Analytics 4, establishing the bases to create a naming policy for the different elements of the tool. After that, we will proceed to create an account and the first container, to then take a look at the interface, understanding the different areas that make it up.

After that, it is time to know the three main elements of Tag Manager: Tags, triggers and variables, we will define each one of them, and we will see these three elements one by one, adding two more, the folders and the templates of the gallery community.

And from here we enter the most “hardcore” part of this course. in which we will discover three important elements in any implementation: The preview, the publication of container versions and the Data Layer, three elements with which we will work in depth in subsequent courses.

After this and to face the final stretch of the course, we will stop to see how to migrate a container to another account and how to create reusable recipes of the implementations that we use the most, ending in the last class with three methods to implement Google Tag Manager on our website. .

A course that will lay the foundations of dynamic labeling thanks to this free Google tool made available to everyone. Go for it!
