Idrica, the Global Omnium technology company, invests in the Valencian startup Cleverpy

has become a new investor in Cleverpy, a Valencian startup dedicated to consulting specialized in technologies such as Machine Learning, Artificial Vision and Georeferenced Information Systems.

With this investment, in addition to being able to grow in the renewable energy sector. The purpose of the operation is to reinforce its portfolio of technological solutions aimed at the digital transformation of the entire integral water cycle. All this in line with the digitization plans promoted by different countries.

The solutions developed by Cleverpy are already part of the GoAigua platform marketed by Idrica and enhance its activity in the fields of supply, sanitation, drinking water, urban irrigation, agriculture, water resources and reuse, worldwide.

For Jaime Barba, CEO of Idrica, this acquisition has been forged in a “natural” way. “Cleverpy is a company with great potential, with which we were already collaborating on multiple projects related to the digitization of the sanitation network, water quality modeling or asset management, in countries such as Qatar or the United States” .

For his part, Pedro Conesa, CEO of Cleverpy, and co-founder of the company together with Jordi Boix and Jesús Vieco, has assured that this operation “seeks to consolidate the growth of Cleverpy and increase its capacities, at the same time providing Idrica with new solutions for water management”. Likewise, Conesa has stated that the startup will maintain its autonomy “to develop solutions aimed at smart cities and 4.0 industries”.

The technological precedents

began its digitization process more than a decade ago with the extraction and analysis of data from field sensorization, at a time when this was very rare. This led to the internal development of solutions based on technologies such as Big Data or Artificial Intelligence, aimed at boosting management efficiency. GoAigua includes this evolution to make unified process management available to customers.
