PARIS/64, the Spanish handbag brand, successfully completes its first round of investment

The founders of the Spanish handbag brand PARIS/64, María Alfonso and José María Pozas, have closed the first round of financing with two family offices for 2.5 million euros for a minority percentage, keeping them in control and management of the society. The main objective of this investment is to promote the growth of the company abroad.

The CEO of PARIS/64, José María Pozas, proposes a strategic evolution of the firm with a view to 2025, setting the goal of reaching a turnover of more than 18 million, of which 70% will be international sales. At the moment the company invoices 25% of its total sales outside the country.

On the other hand, the strategy is focused on an upcoming opening of a point of sale in Madrid in the fourth quarter of 2022, and with the forecast of expanding its physical stores throughout the world, Zaragoza being its first reference store. Thanks to this, PARIS/64 expects to increase its workforce to 20 workers in 2022,

Origin and future prospects

Since its birth in 2019, PARIS/64 has grown, multiplying its turnover by three year after year. Always with the bag as the brand’s star product and maximum sales, with a representation of 80% of them, the firm expanded its product categories in 2020 to include footwear, textiles and accessories.

PARIS/64 establishes itself as the Spanish fashion firm with the highest sales of online bags on the market in our country and with the intention of becoming an international reference brand.
