Good morning and welcome to this sixth installment of en . The objective of this course is not only that you can create your podcast, but also that you can make it grow and monetize it.
Today we will see the advanced configuration of PowerPress, the plugin that we already saw last week, which we use to “connect” the podcast with our blog or website. Let’s go there.
6.1 – PowerPress Metabox
The first thing we will see is how to customize the PowerPress metabox, that is, the configuration box of each chapter. By default it only has a couple of values that we can put in, but in reality we can have many more.
As you can see, the plugin allows us to define many more fields at the chapter level. Some of them not very important, but others extraordinarily key. Above all, exhaustively filled out those that I have indicated in the video.
6.2 – Advanced PowerPress settings
Now let’s go to the rest of the tabs, through which we can control the appearance of the player and the links, the feeds, the iTunes settings and even the images of the podcast and of each chapter 🙂
Well, with this we end the most practical part, in which we have seen how to record a podcast, edit it, upload it to the network, link it to a website, and send it to iTunes. Not bad at all, right?
