An app that stands out for its careful and visual design, but with technical problems in its operation

is one of the largest online fashion sales companies in Spain. Among its pages, full of shirts, pants and watches from dozens of different brands, authentic bargains which are the object of desire of many national e-shoppers. Since its creation in 2006, Privalia’s mass discounts have led it to have 4.5 million members and annual sales close to 5 million products. A large eCommerce company that has been searching through its app for a long time.

A good design with performance problems
The prominence of images and photos is total in the Privalia app, making browsing among its hundreds of products easy very similar to eCommerce. In addition, the application allows you to change the display of the catalog, with three different types of view (grid, list or complete) and filters by size, brand and pricewhich try to supply the absence of an internal seeker.
Once the desired product is located, the images are large, and varied, with tabs as complete as those on the web. In any case, all the good that its design brings is quite overshadowed due to performance problems. Many and varied interruptions in the style of “sorry! the Privalia application has been interrupted unexpectedly.”

In this sense, it does not help too much either hard to find in the Help section aspects of the general purchase conditions that are dealt with on the web, such as shipping methods or the different delivery areas, which are relegated to a untimely appearance in the subsequent purchase process. A series of inconveniences that finally make the app leave a bitter aftertaste on your users.
