Plugin to replace the featured image of a WooCommerce product with a video that will be displayed in the product photo gallery.
The extension adds a field called “Video” in the product data sheet, in which we can upload a video or indicate the URL of the video hosted on YouTube or Vimeo:
Next, we only have to indicate the featured video from the dropdown, choosing the video title. The plugin allows us to upload several, but only one will be the featured one that will appear by default:
And automatically, we already have it in our product file:
The plugin supports the typical gallery of photos that appear below the main one. To do this, we just have to make sure to place several photos that we will place in the gallery, as well as a featured image, which the plugin itself generates for us from the featured image of the video, and that we will find in our media library:
In short, an extension that can help a lot to increase conversions in those products in which a video can better convey its attributes, uses and characteristics.
