In the fourth class of the Streamlabs course we will learn about alerts and widgets, two of the most important additions to this streaming tool.
These tools offer us, on the one hand, to create animations in our live broadcasts and announce the events that take place in an original way, and on the other hand, the widgets give us the possibility of having various gamification tools to improve our connection with the audience.
We are going to learn how to set up alerts and put the various widgets that Streamlabs offers us to good use. Let’s start!
Interesting, right? We have seen how Streamlabs perfectly fulfills one of the most important functions of chatbots.
Platforms like Twitch, YouTube or Facebook do not natively have tools to create animations, for example, to announce in an original way the various events that take place during our live broadcasts. Like subscriptions, follow-ups, donations, etc. This will allow us to create fully customized animations to give our live shows a very personal touch.
Likewise, we also have various gamification tools such as games, surveys, bets and visual announcements of goals or objectives.
In addition to our overlay, the use of alerts and widgets will not only complete the image and style that we want to give in our live broadcasts, but will also determine the way in which we interact with our audience. The style of our way of Live Streaming is also defined by the tools we use and the way our alerts look to celebrate the various moments that happen during our sessions.
As homework, we will play with these widgets and alerts, playing with the different parameters to customize them to the maximum. We can also use some alerts and customization of widgets that we can find on external websites like the ones that we leave below the video.
