The Spanish passport occupies the fourth position in the list of the most powerful passports in the world, which has been published by the consultancy Henley & Partners and which it elaborates according to the passports that allow more borders to be crossed without a visa. For the fourth consecutive year, Japan is at the top of the table. It is followed by Singapore in second position. And, in third place, are Germany and South Korea.

The Spanish passport is the one that continues to the ‘top 3’ of this list. A fourth position that allows Spaniards to enter 188 countries and that we share with three other countries: Finland, Italy and Luxembourg.

However, in this new edition, the United Kingdom drops to seventh position after leaving the European Union. A position that he occupies together with Belgium, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland and the US and that allows him to enter 185 countries without a visa.

At the bottom of the table the six countries with the weakest passports are Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan, Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan whose holders have visa-free access to only 33, 32, 29, 28 and 26 destinations respectively worldwide. .
