Every year tens of thousands of Spaniards wait and prepare for the Post Office oppositions, considered one of the most affordable (although no opposition is). All these interested parties have very good news in 2022, and that is that Correos has launched the largest .
The postal company announced at the end of 2021 the call for 5,377 positions to enter as permanent labor personnel, in categories of professional group IV (Operative Personnel). This call is the company’s largest public job offer in decades and includes the operational positions corresponding to Professional Group IV (Delivery, Agent-Classification and Customer Service).
The process still has to be closed, and until then the specific dates of the next exams will not begin to be communicated, but Correos has been releasing the calls before the summer in recent years, so it is possible that the next exams will be given from June of next year until September 2022.

The oppositions to Correos require to be of legal age and have Compulsory Secondary Education or a higher degree. The tests are divided into two: theoretical and psychotechnical. In addition, it has a job bank in parallel to the oppositions. Here we tell you how to sign up.

Correos has its own collective labor agreement, which sets its salary and conditions.
Thus, the salary can vary depending on the position and functions, but also according to seniority, triennia or extras such as travel.
The salaries included in the agreement according to the main categories are:
-Post assistant: between 1,080 and 1,200 euros per month gross.
-Classification and distribution staff: between 1,100 and 1,300 euros gross per month.
-Base officer: between 1,200 and 1,400 euros gross per month.
-Executive Postal Staff: between 1,300 and 1,500 euros gross per month.
A person with the recently approved opposition enters with the rank of assistant, to later move on to the next level, that of classification and distribution, which includes postmen.
The highest categories are those of base officer and executive, management positions that are normally accessed through internal promotion, accumulating experience.
The agreement also includes other conditions, such as vacations, which are for one calendar month a year, and the shifts are from morning to afternoon continuously in 7-hour shifts.
