WhatsApp has started notifying iPhone users with the version of iOS 10 and iOS 11 that, as of October 24, they will no longer be able to use the app unless they update the system.
The new functions that WhatsApp is developing, such as those of the groups, have been designed to facilitate and improve the day-to-day use that users make, but in order to implement these functions it is necessary to have an operating system that is capable of supporting them.
However, there are times when users are reluctant to update their phones, many times because they are happy and satisfied with what they already have, so there are times when companies have to “force” them to update and change.
This is what will soon happen to all those iPhone users who use iOS 10 and iOS 11, since as stated in , as of October 24, 2022, WhatsApp will stop working, directly affecting the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C, so if they want to continue using the app they will have to change their mobile.
For their part, users who also use one of these operating systems, but have the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s models will only have to update to a newer version of iOS.
