WordPress automation course #8. Automating MailPoet – .com

In the eighth class of the WordPress automation course we are going to create automations with MailPoet, which adds some more than interesting actions.

And it is that MailPoet offers us all the options of an email marketing tool, without leaving our appreciated WordPress environment, centralizing all our data, emails and subscribers on our server.

We are going to see how we can include subscribers in our mailing lists, depending on the events that are carried out in WordPress or in other plugins. Go for it!

We already have it! Isn’t it true that this type of automation simplifies our lives? Being able to dynamically add subscribers to our email marketing lists, based on whether they fill out a form, buy a product, or leave a comment, is a joy.

As a challenge, I propose the following automations:

  • Every time someone buys a product on WooCommerce or EDD, they get on an email marketing list to send notifications or upsells.
  • When someone registers on the web, add them to a test list.
  • When someone places 50 orders, put them on a VIP customer list and send them a WooCommerce discount coupon.
  • If someone buys a specific product, add them to a BuddyPress group of users of that product.

And from here, everything that can occur to you, or everything that can fit with your email marketing strategy. Of course, always place the checkbox to accept the terms, conditions and privacy policies.

As always, if you have any doubt or question, you can send it through the support form of the subscriber intranet. See you in the next lesson! 🙂
