This plugin allows the safe copy of any WordPress installation wherever we want:

With Backup Buddy, you can manually back up whenever you want, or schedule once and forget about it forever. It copies both the database and your themes, plugins and content files (or only what you choose). You can even exclude some files or parts of the database if you want. And you can save all these preferences in your profile, to use it on several occasions.
And the best? The restoration process is extremely easy and fast even if you don’t have access to your WordPress. Just upload the .zip file with the backup and Backup Buddy file and activate the restore. And your WordPress comes back to life!
What more could you want? That there is the possibility of restoring only a single file, that it turns out that you have been playing and now it does not work or it looks “all strange”? Well now you have that option! Thanks to the selective backup, you can now go back to that last version of the file that you were fiddling with and now you no longer know how it was initially.
