Coda Course #4. Segmented views and sections – .com

In the fourth class of the Coda.io course, we are going to discover how to create segmented views and add new sections to our document.

On many occasions we are going to face the need to have a permanent vision of one of the fields, and when our database increases in volume it will be complicated.

For this we are going to apply a little ingenuity within Coda.io, and we are going to be able to create a new table, starting from the data of the previous one, but only filtering the fields that we need, giving solution to our problems.

In addition, in this class we will see how to create different document sections to have our document broken down and agile, so let’s get started!

As you can see, it is a matter of adapting the functionalities to our needs and we will have different types of views of our segmented data, being able to work on them independently, not only in the same document but also in different ones.

The sections will be very important to have separate databases, or to create documents with visualizations and graphics based on the previous tables that we have in other sections.

As homework I leave you the proposal to create a new section in which we have a table, based on your data, in which we only have the vision of the pending or accepted proposals (field that you must always have in a CRM :).

If you have any questions, you know that I am available by writing to me through the intranet support form. See you next class.
