Facebook Ads Course #3. Creation of campaigns – .com

In the third class of the basic Facebook Ads course we are going to learn how to create our first campaign using three of the most used objectives on Facebook: conversions, web traffic and video reproduction.

3.1. Conversion campaign with sales objective

In the previous class we saw how to install and configure the Facebook pixel. It is the first big step that we must take to start our long journey through the fantastic world of Facebook Ads on the right foot.

Now, with everything well installed and configured, it’s time to get into action using the different Facebook objectives.

When we start to set up a campaign, Facebook proposes different objectives. That is, what do we want to achieve? We will see how many there are and, depending on the one we choose, Facebook will try to find those people with the highest probability of fulfilling them. How does Facebook do this? Well, think that Facebook knows everything about us: how we behave, which ads we click… So, I guess you already have an idea 🙂

Well, one of the most used campaigns is the one that is created based on the conversion objective. That is, we want the user to perform an action on our website. As we saw in lesson 2, a conversion is necessarily a sale as such, but in this case, we are going to see how to create a ticket sales campaign for a show. Sounds good, doesn’t it? Well go for it!

Have you seen how running a campaign from scratch requires making a good number of decisions? The options that Facebook offers us are extensive, for this reason we must know what each one means and spend time analyzing its results.

In addition, we have corroborated the importance of having the Facebook pixel well configured, because in this case, it was crucial that Facebook had the “purchase” event well implemented. Otherwise, we could not have launched the campaign.

Now you know how to create your own conversion campaign, so let’s go! It’s your turn 🙂

And if you have any doubts or questions, remember to use the intranet support form and I will help you with everything you need 😀

3.2. Website traffic campaign

Although we have already seen how to create a conversion campaign, it may happen that sometimes we are more interested in generating traffic to a specific website. An objective that we can also choose in the campaign configuration and that we are going to see step by step. Let’s start!

Interesting right? This time Facebook is going to try to find those people who are most likely to visit our landing page or our website. It can be recommended for cases where our pixel does not yet have too much information and we need to carry traffic so that the different events are generated.

3.3 Play video campaign

In recent years, video has been the main protagonist on Facebook. So much so, that video ads often get better results.

For this reason, we are going to create a video views campaign to get our video ad to reach as many people as possible.

This strategy is interesting if we combine it with the choice of an organic Facebook post instead of creating an ad from scratch. In this way, we will avoid the empty bar effect and generate more interest. Let’s see how!

What do you think of this way of creating campaigns? It might be a good idea, right?

In this way, a video will be much more consumable and likely to generate interest in our audience. I hope you found it interesting!

3.4. gain followers on instagram

Having a solid community on Facebook or Instagram will give us greater relevance, an interesting number of people to target without ads and, from an external point of view, we will be able to generate greater trust among new people who meet us.

In fact, if you have noticed the objectives that we can choose in our campaigns, there is one dedicated to getting more “likes” on our Facebook page. However, there is no goal to get followers on Instagram. Can’t we gain followers on Instagram with Facebook Ads?

Officially there is no goal as such. But how to say it? Let’s say that we can make use of a very good hack that will allow us to achieve it. Look how!

What do you think of this trick? Wanting to try it, right? Also, I assure you that if you have a careful Instagram profile, with valuable and updated content, you will get followers with little budget. The time has come to have more followers!
