In the third class of the Sensei course we set up the Academic Secretariat, a very interesting section with essential tools for any online academy.
In the academic secretary we will find several sections, such as analysis, qualifications, and student management.
But since a picture is worth a thousand words and a video is worth a thousand images, let’s take a look inside. Let us begin!
As you can see through this section we can access super important sections in an online academy such as the analysis section that gives us an overview of how our students are progressing, the student management panel, the grades of these students and the management of the same.
I propose the following as homework to create several courses and register as students in them to see how this data is displayed in the analysis section and in student management. Let’s remember the three key sections:
- Analysis: Here we can see the number of courses, lessons and total students, the average number of courses per student, the average grade obtained by students, the number of courses that have been completed and information and statistics about students, courses and lessons .
- Ratings: Here we can see the qualifications obtained by the students of our platform in the different courses in which they have signed up.
- student management: Here we can see and manage the students who are enrolled in each of the courses, as well as their grades.
Add multiple choice questions to these courses with automatic correction and a score in each one and take these exams obtaining different results: pass with some errors, fail and pass with all the answers correct, to later see how these results affect the grades section, in the analysis and student management.
