YouTube Go is the official application of the Google video service that allows you to download content to your mobile in order to view it without the need for a connection, at the time you want it. You can also choose between playing the selected videos immediately or being able to download them in standard and low-quality mode so that you can watch them later even when you don’t have an internet connection.
In addition, the YouTube Go application will allow you send videos to other users that use the application and that are near you through a WiFi access point.

At the moment there are only two options for downloading: Standard and basic. The basic resolution is 144p and the standard is 360p and for now there is no possibility to have access to HD video downloads.
This is logical if we take into account that this application is intended for users with a slow internet connection or with equipment with limited specifications. Also, for a video to be available for download, its creator must have enabled this option.
Each and every video will be able to show a small previewwith which you can see part of the content and choose whether it is the video you want to download or not.
Of course, this app will work best for those mobile users who aren’t usually connected to a WiFi network, or who don’t have an unlimited data plan, since if you have a good one you probably won’t need it.
It is still in beta phase… but you can already try it
At the moment, the application to test in its beta presentation, although not available for download in many countries. As usual, it will be enabled gradually for all countries in the coming weeks.
